
Booking Terms
Reservation: Full payment is required at the time of booking at least 45 days before commencement of the tour. The Company reserves the right not to execute the tour if payment is not made in full.
Payment: We accept payment in advance by cheque, wire transfer, or visa and is subject to identification. Payment by credit card will attract a charge of 7% of the total payable as a transaction fee.
Cancellations & Refund: All cancellation must be made in writing to Chariot Tours & Car Hire Limited at least 45 days before commencement of the tour. Monies paid will be refunded less the cost of cancellation levied at 50% of the total payable. No show and missed services will not be refunded.
Pricing: Prices are based on the tariffs and other costs prevailing at the time of booking and are subject to change without notice.
Transportation: The Company reserves the right to employ subcontracted transport and other services and make suitable alterations based on routing, road condition and the number of passengers traveling in one party.
Accommodation: Accommodation may be single or double room. Hotel / lodges are named as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved at similar category of Hotels / Lodges.
Baggage: Baggage for overnight tours is restricted to come in small size suitcases per person. Most hotels have facilities for storing luggage not required on tour. Baggage and personal effects are at owner's risk throughout the safari. Baggage insurance and trip cancellation insurance is advisable prior to travel.
Driver / Guide: English speaking African drivers/guides are provided during the tour.
Alteration: The Company reserves the right to alter or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate.
It also reserves the right to decline or refrain to accept any person as a member of a given tour in which case an equitable amount will be refunded accordingly.
Liability: Chariot Tours & Car Hire Limited and associated companies accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays, or changes in train, steamer, motor, air or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, civil disturbances, war, quarantine or other cause. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger.
The Company liability to passengers carried in its vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the actions arises.
