Nairobi National Park.......... Bomas Experience!



Early morning rise at 6:30am and drive to Nairobi National Park famous for being the only National Park to be found within a capital city in the whole world. It has a high-altitude savannah landscape with acacia trees dotting across the open grass plains and its boundary adjoins the city's industrial area. The Park is the oldest of all Kenya's national parks. It is known for its Black Rhino Sanctuary. Its closeness to the city means it is very accessible to Kenyans and tourists alike who want to experience a safari without having to travel and stay overnight elsewhere. Major wildlife attractions are the black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Lunch at Mamba Village. Stop at the Kazuri Bead Factory where you have an opportunity to see how the beads are made.

Boma” means homestead and Bomas of Kenya here means the tribes of Kenya. There are over 40 ethnic tribes in Kenya and it’s at only here, where you can learn about the traditional way of life of each of these tribes. Just a few kilometers from the city centre, numerous homesteads reflecting Kenya's cocktail of cultures have been re-created for visitors to experience traditional village life. The highlight of this tour is the colorful display of folklore dances from various tribes performed in a splendid arena.
